Processing providers
Each provider is named. Imports are analysed by Claude from Anthropic, which does not train on them. Email analysis stays off unless the owner turns it on.
The planned architecture uses Hetzner for the application server in Germany, Supabase in Frankfurt for accounts, data and private files, Mailgun’s EU region for incoming messages, and Resend for authentication emails and reminders. Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record, handles payments once paid plans open. European hosting does not mean every provider processes all data exclusively in Europe.
Imports: the text of a PDF, an exported email or pasted text is analysed by AI by default, after a notice on the upload screen. Manual entry uses no AI. The text goes to Anthropic (United States) through its API and may be processed outside the EU. Anthropic does not train on it and deletes it within 30 days, except for legal reasons or a breach of its usage policy. Only proposed details with quotations and a short summary come back, for you to check. Forwarded emails: AI analysis is off by default and runs only if the workspace owner turns it on; the email text and its PDF attachments then take the same route. Turning it off stops future requests but cannot recall text already sent. The read-only assistant sends your question, recent messages and a minimal summary of your confirmed details by the same route. AI analysis and email forwarding are included in paid plans and, during the launch offer, in the Free plan.
Retention and deletion
Received emails up to 7 days, drafts 30 days, your evidence until you delete it.
- Full received payload and unretained attachments: up to 7 days in active Nolapso storage.
- Draft excerpts and files: 30 days, unless deleted earlier.
- Evidence retained for an agreement: until you delete it.
- Minimal content-free fingerprints to prevent duplicates: 90 days.
Expired content is no longer accessible. A scheduled task deletes files. Backups and providers have separate retention periods. Mailgun’s optional store() archive is not enabled, but this does not guarantee immediate deletion of all operational copies. Backups are kept for a limited time and then overwritten; deleted data may remain in them until they rotate.
Stopping forwarding
Pausing stops new imports. Remove your Gmail or Outlook rule to stop forwarding.
Pause, disconnect and address rotation stop new imports into Nolapso. They do not remove your Gmail filter or Outlook rule. Remove or update that rule to stop future forwarding. Your provider and the receiving provider may still receive messages already forwarded.
What Nolapso does not do
No cancellations and no supplier notices. You confirm dates before any reminder.
