Contract renewal reminders before the notice deadline
Many contracts renew automatically unless you give notice weeks or months before the renewal date. Nolapso turns the renewal clause into a notice deadline that you confirm, then emails you 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before it, so you can renew, renegotiate or cancel in time.

How Nolapso handles notice periods
The deadline, not only the renewal date
The last day to give notice sits next to the renewal date.
A contract that renews on 30 June with two months' notice must be cancelled by 30 April. Nolapso keeps the two dates apart and works out the deadline from the notice rule you confirm, counting calendar months as months rather than as a fixed number of days.
Dates found in the clause
Upload a PDF or paste a clause, and each proposed date comes with its source.
On plans with AI analysis, Nolapso proposes the renewal date, notice period and deadline, each with a quotation from the document. Nothing is tracked until you check and confirm it. Scanned pages and JPEG or PNG photos are read too. Unclear wording is flagged for you to complete, and manual entry never uses AI.
Reminders to the right person
30, 14, 7 and 1 day before the deadline by default.
Choose other days or weeks for each contract, and the person who receives the emails. Reminders go out at 09:00 in your workspace timezone. A deadline that has already passed shows a warning instead of sending a backlog of late emails.
Follow-through after the decision
Record renew, renegotiate or cancel, then keep the proof and the reply.
To cancel, Nolapso prepares a notice from your confirmed details. You send it yourself through the channel the contract requires, then record when it was sent and attach the proof and the supplier's confirmation. On Business, your team shares the same workspace.
Notice period and renewal questions
What is a notice period?
A notice period is the time you must give before a contract ends or renews, such as three months before the renewal date. If you give notice after the deadline, the contract can renew for another term.
Which contracts can I track?
Any contract with a renewal or end date: software licences, insurance, maintenance, equipment rental, phone and internet plans, and supplier contracts. Nolapso works for households and for small businesses.
Does Nolapso send the cancellation for me?
No. Nolapso prepares a notice and tracks each step, but you send it yourself through the channel your contract requires. It never contacts suppliers on your behalf.
What if the clause is unclear?
Nolapso tells you what it cannot read or confirm, and the contract stays incomplete until you fill in the details. When a deadline depends on working days or on local law, you enter and confirm it yourself, and Nolapso gives no legal advice.
Can my team share the reminders?
Yes, on the Business plan. Members share one workspace, each contract has a responsible person, and reminders go to the address you choose for it.
