Free trial reminders that arrive before the first payment
A free trial turns into a paid subscription on its last day, and the first charge can come without any warning. In Nolapso, mark the subscription as a free trial and you get an email before the first payment, so you can keep it or cancel in time.

How Nolapso reminds you about free trials
Emails before you are charged
3 days and 1 day before the trial ends, by default.
The end of a free trial is the first payment date, so the payment reminders cover it. Reminders arrive at 09:00 in your workspace timezone, and you can choose other days for each subscription or turn them off.
Keep or cancel, from Attention
From 7 days before the end, the trial waits for your answer.
Choose Keep and it becomes a regular paid subscription. Choose Cancel to open the subscription and record your decision. Nothing changes with the provider until you cancel there yourself.
The date in your calendar
Add the end of the trial to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.
Nolapso creates a standard .ics file with the trial end and the first payment, including the amount if you entered one. An event holds only the name, the amount and the date, never your notes. The file is a copy made when you download it, so download it again if you later change the date.
Not sure when it ends?
The service's welcome email or your account page usually shows the date of the first charge.
Enter that date as the first payment date, and the reminders arrive before it. A trial adds nothing to your totals until its first payment, and a trial you cancel in time never adds to them.
Free trial reminder questions
How do I get a reminder before a free trial ends?
Add the subscription to Nolapso with its first payment date and tick Free trial. Nolapso emails you 3 days and 1 day before that date, and the trial appears in Attention from 7 days before. If you are not sure when the trial ends, the service's welcome email or account page usually shows the date of the first charge.
Will Nolapso cancel the trial for me?
No. You cancel with the provider, in their app or account settings. Nolapso reminds you in time and keeps a record of your decision.
Can I change when the reminders arrive?
Yes. Open the subscription, go to Reminders and choose other days or weeks before the payment, or turn the reminders off.
Does a free trial count in my spending?
Not while it runs. Nolapso counts the subscription from its first payment, so your totals only show what you actually pay. If you keep the service, the first payment and the ones after it show up in your monthly and yearly totals.
Is it free to use?
Yes. The Free plan includes reminders for up to 10 subscriptions or contracts, with no card required.
